Camp ikigai: 2025 Traveler Requirements & Health Advice

Sunny Camp ikigai with animals, smiling campers and green meadows

Legal Requirements (TSA / CBP / Airlines)

  • REAL ID ACT: Adults 18+ must show a REAL-ID compliant license or passport to clear TSA starting 7 May 2025.
  • Standard Security Screening: 3-1-1 liquids, prohibited-items list, and full cooperation with TSA officers.
  • Masks: There has been no U.S. federal mask mandate since April 2022. Follow any airline-specific rules and always obey flight-crew instructions.
  • Health: TSA does not bar COVID-positive travelers, but airlines may deny boarding to passengers who are visibly ill or disruptive.
  • International Arrivals: U.S. CBP still requires a valid passport/visa or ESTA. As of June 2025, no U.S. COVID test or vaccination proof is required for entry.

CDC & Camp ikigai Recommendations (Voluntary)

  • Delay travel until you are 24 h fever-free and symptoms are improving if you test positive.
  • Take a same-day rapid antigen test before departure, especially after a known exposure.
  • Wear a high-quality mask in crowded indoor areas (airports, packed cabins) if you prefer extra protection.
  • Test again 3–5 days after arrival; isolate and notify staff if you feel unwell.
