Legal Requirements (TSA / CBP / Airlines)
- REAL ID ACT: Adults 18+ must show a REAL-ID compliant license or passport to clear TSA starting 7 May 2025.
- Standard Security Screening: 3-1-1 liquids, prohibited-items list, and full cooperation with TSA officers.
- Masks: There has been no U.S. federal mask mandate since April 2022. Follow any airline-specific rules and always obey flight-crew instructions.
- Health: TSA does not bar COVID-positive travelers, but airlines may deny boarding to passengers who are visibly ill or disruptive.
- International Arrivals: U.S. CBP still requires a valid passport/visa or ESTA. As of June 2025, no U.S. COVID test or vaccination proof is required for entry.
